A Chaise belonging to Debo, Duchess of Devonshire from a Chatsworth Attic Sale, upholstered in our Cornucopia Emerald and Plum
Sourced from the Sotheby's "Deborah, Duchess of Devonshire" sale, this early Victorian chaise longue circa 1840 with its elongated shape, tall back and elegant, ebonised legs on casters is a true one-of-a-kind with its provenance. This chaise has been restored and traditionally upholstered in our own Cornucopia hand screen printed linen in Emerald & Plum with self-piping.
CONDITION: This chair is an antique that has been meticulously restored and traditionally upholstered within Flora Soames workshops. However, it is important to underline, due to the nature of it being an antique, that there is an underlying patina and character of age to this piece. As a result it may show the inevitable variations that come with one off designs and be subject to likely wear that shows its age.
