Shipping & Returns
INTRODUCTION
Flora Soames Fabrics is able to offer our clients UK, US and worldwide delivery services.
If your item is in stock, we intend to dispatch all online orders within 2 to 3 working days from receipt of order and funds. If the dispatch of your item is delayed for any reason, we will contact you to give you an update. Items purchased on backorder will be shipped when in stock, we will keep you updated on the item’s delivery date.
SHIPPING
Our shipping times for Fabric and Wallpaper samples are as follows:
- Trade customers (UK and Worldwide): Free via Royal Mail 1st Class, delivery within 2-4 days.
- Retail customers (UK): Free via Royal Mail 1st Class, delivery within 2-4 days.
- Retail customers (EU, US, Canada and Worldwide): £5 (Royal Mail, non-tracked service), delivery within 10-14 working days. Expedited shipping is available on request – please contact our sales team.
Our Shipping times for The One Day Box Book is as follows:
- UK Customers: via Royal Mail 2nd Class, delivery within 3-5 working days.
- EU, US, Canada and Worldwide Customers: via Royal Mail 2nd Class or DHL, delivery with 7-10 days.
All other items including fabric, wallpaper and accessories are as follows:
- Trade and Retail Customers (UK) via Royal Mail or UPS, delivery within 3-5 working days.
- Trade and Retail Customers (EU, US, Canada and Worldwide) via DHL, delivery within 5-6 working days.
All bespoke and furniture items will be quoted for delivery once your order has been confirmed.
If you require a faster or guaranteed service, please get in touch directly with us before purchasing and we can provide you with a bespoke quote.

SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE UK
All shipments from the UK to destinations outside of the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied by the importing country at the time the shipment arrives. All applicable duties, fees and any additional charges for customs clearance are the customer’s responsibility.
DELIVERY
We will send you a Shipping Confirmation with your tracking number for all fabric, wallpaper and products (this excludes all samples) when your order is on its way.
Your order will be delivered to the delivery address you specify when placing your order. Products within the same order cannot be delivered to different addresses. If you have ordered a combination of in stock items and items that are on backorder, your order will be dispatched once all items are back in stock. If you would like to receive your items in separate deliveries as they become available, or for items within your order to be shipped to different addresses, please contact us at sales@florasoames.com with your order number to arrange and settle any additional shipping.
RISK AND OWNERSHIP
The Product(s) ordered will be at your risk from the time of delivery or collection. Ownership of the Product(s) ordered will also pass to you on delivery or collection provided full payment of all sums due in respect of the Product(s), including any delivery charges, has been received.
INSPECTION OF PRODUCTS
Please open and inspect your Products within 24 hours of delivery. If you believe a Product was delivered damaged or faulty, please inform us within 7 days by emailing us at sales@florasoames.com with all details, including your order number, name and address. Failure to do so within this timeframe may result in us not being able to assist you in this matter.
RETURNS
We are happy to offer an exchange or refund within 14 days of delivery for non-bespoke Products purchased on our website. Please note that all fabric orders are cut to your specified length and are therefore a bespoke and non-returnable item. If you would like to receive a sample of one of our Fabrics or Wallpapers before you proceed with your purchase, you are able to do so on our website.
All One Day Box Book purchases are also personally signed, and so not available to return.
In the event that non bespoke items purchased from us are faulty we will be happy to replace them at no additional shipping charge or alternatively to refund the cost of purchase. Receipt of faulty goods should be notified to us within 7 days and returned to us within 14 days otherwise we will not be able to process your return. Costs of return of faulty goods will be covered by Flora Soames.
No liability will be accepted for changes in appearance, performance, or defects in any of our fabrics if they are treated after purchase by spraying or processing of any kind, including flame proofing or the application of stain repelling treatments and no claims for faulty fabrics or wallpapers can be made after the fabrics or wallpapers have been cut or hung.
To be eligible for a return, your Product(s) must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.
To return your Product, please email us at sales@florasoames.com for a return authorisation and we will issue you with the correct address to return your Products. The price of shipping this item back to us lies with you.
THE ONE DAY BOX COLLECTION RETURNS
The One Day Box Collection designs are not available to send out on Approval.
Purchases made in the showroom can be exchanged only and are non-refundable.
If you are not happy with your purchase, we are here to help. Any item purchased online can be returned within 14 calendar days of your purchase date without cause and on request of a refund may be subject to a 20% restocking fee (circumstances depending - this is at the discretion of Flora Soames Fabrics Ltd.)
To be eligible for a refund, your item must be returned unused and in the same condition you received it as sold. Your purchase must be in the original packaging and with the enclosed packing slip.
If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card or original payment method. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item by the same or similar means it was received (and you are responsible for the condition it is returned in). Shipping costs are non-refundable.
All goods must be in the same condition when returned as sold.
Any purchases returned after 14 days are subject to either an Exchange or Credit Note (60 Days Expiry).
BESPOKE ITEMS
We do not offer returns or refunds for Products that have been personalized or made to your own bespoke specifications. This includes all Fabrics cut to your specified length unless faulty on delivery.
RETURNS SHIPPING
Returns of non-bespoke items purchased from us will be accepted providing items are in their original packaging, unused and in a fully re-saleable condition. Please inform us of your intention to return goods within 14 days of receipt and note that the return of goods in perfect condition and original packaging will be the responsibility of the customer.
You will be responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Product(s) to us and/or any new delivery charges for a requested exchange. These costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, these shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.
In the event that non bespoke items purchased from us are faulty, we will be happy to replace them at no additional shipping charge.
REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will process any refund due to you within 14 days after we receive your items back in our warehouse and inspect it. We will refund the price paid in full subject to any deduction we are entitled to make due to your use of or damage to the Product(s). However, we will not refund your cost of returning the Product(s) to us, unless as stated above, the items has been faulty.
Refunds are made using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase, unless agreed otherwise.
